Hallym University selected as 2022 Medical Artificial Intelligence Convergence Talent Nurturing Project University

The Medical Artificial Intelligence Convergence Talent Nurturing project will encourage future field-oriented medical artificial intelligence convergence talents to lead new industries in the future.
From July 2022 the project will see 2.45 billion Korean Won invested by the Korean Government over a period of three years.
□ Hallym University was selected for the 2022 Medical Artificial Intelligence Convergence Talent Nurturing Project ' jointly hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Ministry of Education.
□ Medical AI Convergence Talent Cultivation Project aims to nurture convergence talents who can apply AI technology to the health and medical field.
□ In this project, Hallym University presents a vision of developing field-oriented medical artificial intelligence convergence professionals that will lead future new industries:
▲ Cultivating creative innovative talents to lead the medical AI field
▲ Medical AI education reflecting the demands of hospitals and industrial fields
▲ Industry - academic - research – (research network-based medical care)
The three main goals are to produce professional individuals for each level of AI.
□ To this end, Hallym University runs a convergence curriculum in the medical artificial intelligence field jointly with the College of Information Sciences (Faculty of Artificial Intelligence Convergence, Department of Software), College of Medicine, and Hallym University Medical Center.
□ In particular, all five hospitals affiliated with Hallym University Medical Center, including Chuncheon Sacred Heart Hospital, Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital, Gangnam Sacred Heart Hospital, Dongtan Sacred Heart Hospital, and Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital, participated in the program to foster practical talents tailored to the field through internships and on-the-job training programs.
This, therefore is expected to exert a synergistic effect in nurturing medical artificial intelligence convergence talents that meet the demands of the field.
