Graduate Student Application Checklist for Fall 2022

※ Fall 2022 graduate admissions guide including application timeline and fields of study will be announced in the middle of April.
Before you submit your application (between late April and mid May), make sure you meet all the minimum admissions requirements.
[Admissions requirements]
★ For all international applicants
● Take required tests.
- English proficiency requirements: iBT 71 / IELTS 5.5 / CEFR B2
- Korean language requirement varies according to the department (Level 3 or above).
● Ask for a recommendation from your future advisor at Hallym.
● Write an application form, study plan and a letter of consent.
- Forms can be downloaded from this website during the application period.
● Prepare your certificates of degree and official transcripts.
- Degree certificate and transcript should be officially verified by a Korean consulate or authenticated with an Apostille.
● Prepare your certificate of family relations.
☆ For applicants for Ph.D. program
○ Prepare your resume and research products.
- The resume form can be downloaded from our website during the application period.
- Research accomplishments listed on the resume must be accompanied by the relevant supporting data.
[Scholarship]
● T.A. (Teaching Assistant) / R.A. (Research Assistant) scholarship
- A full-time student who is allowed to be involved in a professor's research or to assist with classes can be employed as T.A. or R.A. (100% tuition fee waiver)
● Scholarship A / B
- A full-time student who is not applicable either to T.A. or R.A may apply for scholarship A (60%) or B (40% tuition fee waiver).
