Further IAA accreditation for the Department of Advertising and Public Relations

Hallym’s Department of Advertising and Public Relations maintains its IAA accreditation; the award was first granted to the department in 2008. 


The Department of Advertising and Public Relations is the only certified IAA (International Advertising Association) Advertising and Public Relations undergraduate degree in South Korea.

□ IAA accreditation is granted to organisations that provide accredited advertising and promotional education programs that meet international standards, and currently has only 43 educational institutions worldwide.


□ Professor Hong Seok-min, head of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations, said, 'Based on the IAA curriculum, we aim to cultivate professional advertising individuals with strong international competitiveness. ''In the future, we are preparing a variety of curriculum's for students through collaboration with advertising programs and educational programs at Chinese universities.'


□ Based on these curriculum's, students from the Department of Advertising and Public Relations at Hallym University have won a number of awards at international and domestic advertising festivals.
